LAKE T FAQ'S

Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions about the Lake T Tri Series...
(1) When is the first race?
              June 11th
(2) Where is the race?
              At Blish Park on Park Road in Marlbourgh.
(3) How much is the race?
              $25 (cash only).
(4) When can I register?
              Registration is either at these locations
                           Cycling Concepts in Glastonbury from noon to 6:00 p.m. the Wednesday before the race
                           On-site the day of the event from 5:00 to 6:15 at Blish Park

(5) Do I have to have a USAT License?
                          Yes. USAT Licenses must be current and a photo ID is required.
(6) Will the race be marshaled?
                          Yes. All standard USAT rules will apply and time penalties and disqualifications will be issued.
                          Season bans will be issued for poor sportsmanship.
                          The town has been gracious enough to have us back.
                          Please do not be the one to jeopardize this for all of us.

(7) Where do I park?
                          Parking is limited so please car pool if possible. Parking is permitted next to the baseball
                          diamond on Park Road and to the right side of the lake town parking area.
                          The left side is for town residents only.

(8) What are the distances?
                          The course has been changed to accommodate road construction on Main Street.
                          The course will be two loops equaling 10 miles for the bike.
                          The swim has been moved out to 600 yards from 400 yards
                          and the run is the same 5K it has always been.

(9) Is it a mass start?
                          No. There will be two waves of 100. There will be a cut off of 200 racers.
(10) Is there a time limit.
                          Yes. A time limit will be issued for the second loop of the bike. Racers unable to complete the first loop
                           in a specified time will be ask to dismount and start their run. Yes, this will throw off timing and
                           actual place for some racers but in this case safety prevails and after all this is a training race.
